Mission Statement -
It shall be the mission of All the Little Things Count/Country to implement and promote services of the highest quality to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities being served in Home and Community Services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHml) programs. We will strive to help those who are enrolled to develop their talents and skills while honoring the individual's rights for self determination. We will also assist those who are enrolled in these programs to access appropriate community supports and resources in order to achieve their desired potential in both vocational and personal pursuits while living with dignity as contributing members of society.
Clientele -
Services are provided to all ages who qualify for Home and Community Service (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) programs provided by and enrolled through the Texas Department of Aging and Disability (DADS). Please see DADS website for enrollment procedures.
Services Overview -
All the Little Things Count/Country provide Home and Community Services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) to eligible individuals.
Services include:
All the Little Things Country is a non-profit [501(c)(3)] organization. All The Little Things Count LLC is a for profit corporation.
The Texas Department of Aging and Disabilities (DADS) contracts with All The Little Things Count and All The Little Things Country to provide these services. Each program must be recertified by DADS annually in accordance with the Texas Administrative Code (TAC).
Program Services Description -
All the Little Things Count/Country provides all of the above listed services. An individual plan of care (IPC) is developed for each person enrolled in the program. This plan of care is based upon his/her special needs. Day habilitation, vocational training and supported employment are important aspects of our services for adults. We also provide extended school services for minor children. One of our important goals is to strengthen family bonds regardless of whether the enrolled individual is served in a group home, foster companion home or in their own family environment.
The individuals who are served in these programs strive to acquire, retain and/or improve self-help skills necessary to reside outside institutions and nursing homes. In addition to assisting in the above areas, All the Little Things Count/Country provides age appropriate training, experiences and activities that enhance self-esteem and maximize an individual’s functioning level.
There are many individuals on the HCS and TxHML waiting lists in the state of Texas. If interested in one of these programs, contact the Texas Department of Aging and Disabilities (DADS) as soon as possible.
Geographic Counties Served -
Brazoria, Galveston, Fort Bend, Harris, Montgomery and Wharton Counties are presently being served. Services can be expanded outside these areas by family request.
Clients come from many cities and towns in these counties including: Houston, Freeport, Lake Jackson, Angleton, Alvin, Galveston, Holiday Lakes, Pearland, Clute, Richwood, Sugar Land, Friendswood, Texas City, Rosenberg, Danbury, Wharton, El Campo,Spring, Humble, Missouri City, Richmond, Conroe, Santa Fe, and La Porte.
